Enjoy a beer, cider or glass of wine, while learning to make your own patchwork applique. Just bring your own item to apply your new patch to; a tote bag, denim jacket, t-shirt or sweatshirt. We'll provide everything else!Open to all levels of crafters, whether you know how to sew or not, we can sew on your custom design for you or you can jump on the machine and DIY. We will have a variety of fabrics and patterns to choose from. Sunday, June 16th, 2:00 - 4:00 pm Whether you celebrate Father's day or not, I think we can all agree that sometimes we need to take time for ourselves. Grab a friend or 2 & come stitch with me and make this adorably awesome piece of wall art to use as a reminder to care for yourself or give as a fun gift! Open to all levels of embroiders, you will be learning the basic back stitch for this project. We will have a variety of words to choose, from sassy to sweet or you can come up with your own! You will also learn how to transfer a pattern and finish up your work for a tidy hoop display. WELCOME BACK to the THIRD installment of our bimonthly occurrence...BUSINESS CASUAL!!The Mission: We aim to create an event that draws together creatives from all over Long Beach across all disciplines and mediums. As artists, we constantly rely on our fellow creatives and supporters to achieve our goals. Through “Business Casual,” we intend to facilitate the nurturing of these connections as well as forming new bonds with yet unknown artists. Let's face it, we also just want to have fun!At each event, Sweet Dreams Priscilla will be releasing an EP of new music that will only be available during this event. With the help of our featured artist and Dubtree, we will have a limited quantity of hand screen printed CDs available for a "pay what you want" price. Join us every other month for a whole different experience; new location, new bands, new artists, new tunes, same great time!
