Special Appearance by Elinor Otto
When we decided to open a bar we wanted a name that would represent female empowerment, something with a nod to Long Beach ... there was no better choice than Ms. Elinor Otto. Elinor is an original Rosie the Riveter who started working in 1942 just after Pearl Harbor. She worked from 1942 to 2014 spending 50 of her 70 year career in Long Beach at both Douglas and Boeing. She worked until she was 95 years old and only stopped working when Boeing finally closed it's Long Beach Plant. She is a true inspiration still filled with spunk and tenacity at the age of 99!!!
Her grandson John Perry who had dedicated his life to taking care of her passed away in March so she has had to sell her home and is moving out of state with family.
Come see her, meet her, get an autographed photo, take a photo with her and donate to her moving fund.
She will arrive at 7pm and stay til closing so long as you keep her entertained!!!
Tickets or RSVP are NOT NEEDED, just show up!!!
We are located at 250 North Tribune Court
