"I like to make items that have a usefulness quality to them. Things that have a function or purpose or even that simply can be worn. I've been creating since as long as I can remember - making paper flowers for my mom's party centerpieces and helping cross stitch embroidered napkins for my grandmother's holiday table. I love to try out new patterns and new materials - as a self-challenge. Learning how a stitch is made by taking it apart is usually the most effective way to understanding a technique. I work mostly in fibers like fabric, threads, and yarn, and tons of beads. I also enjoy sharing my skills with anyone who wants to learn. Right now I'm perfecting a new mask pattern. I'm always looking for new objects to try to create and present - who knows what I'll create next?"
