Korla Pandit (1921-1988) was known as the godfather of exotica. He is perhaps best known for his 1950’s TV show “Korla Pandit's Adventures In Music” where he often played organ and piano simultaneously. The icing on the cake, "Not once in 900 performances did he speak on camera, preferring instead to communicate with viewers via his hypnotic gaze."
