GFM sources heavy industrial bags in Southeast Asia formerly used for transporting concrete and livestock feed and repurposes them to create a line of fashionable, durable everyday use bags. By upcycling these items, they are prevented from going to landfills.
GFM supports a community of families in Southeast Asia by offering fair wages to women and families in remote locations who are then able to work from home rather than commuting to a factory. This allows families to stay together and prevents these women and children from falling prey to sex/human traffickers.
Global Fashion Mission believes that brands should create and sell products which are both environmentally and socially responsible. Every company has an opportunity to do business in a manner that truly benefits the world and we GFM lives true to this philosophy.
GFM advocates for the economic growth of economically challenged people and only partner with suppliers by, observing recognized fair trade standards.
GFM joins The Project Foundation & The Long Beach Human Trafficking Task Force mission to combat human trafficking.
